I am currently a Ritt Assistant Professor in Columbia University mathematics department. My math page. For a layperson's introduction to the kind of math I think about, I recommend this document by Geordie Williamson.

I was born in Ube, Yamaguchi, Japan, on March 21. At some point I moved to Arcadia, California, where I went to First Avenue Middle School and learned English. I went to Polytechnic School for high school and took some math courses at Caltech. I graduated from Princeton University (A.B. in Mathematics) in 2012 and from Stanford University (Ph.D. in Mathematics) in 2017.

I type on the Dvorak keyboard layout. Things I've been into: cubing, juggling, DDR.
